WHAT is Perspectives?

This non-denominational course presents the biblical, historical, cultural, and strategic aspects of fulfilling the Great Commission. We encourage anyone in the who is serious about gaining a deeper understanding of God’s ultimate purpose in the world to attend this course.

Perspectives seeks to reveal the nature of God's heart to be worshipped by all nations, and that we are called to be a part of HIS purpose regardless of whether we feel called to serve overseas, at home or in our own work place. It's about a deeper understanding of who God is, what He's about, and how we are ALL called to be a part of it.

Throughout the 16 weeks, students will learn about God’s nature, His purpose, and how He uses ordinary people like us to bring the glory to His name. Over 100,000 people have taken the Perspectives course. This year there are over 200 classes world-wide with over 7,000 students.

    • Instructor

      Mark Phillips

      International Missions Board, Franklin KY

God has led my family to invest our lives sharing the gospel in one of the poorest, most non-Christian places on the face of the earth. Where we live, most people live on less than a dollar a day, two out of every five babies does not live to see its fifth birthday, and 99 percent of the people are Muslim. Our desire is to see the gospel resonate and bring wholeness among people who live lives with hunger, suffering, and fear as accepted norms. Our hope is to see Christ establish His Church in Songhai lands bringing Light into the darkness.
