Perspectives will open your eyes to the heart and purpose of God, and how you
can take part in His work all over the world - from the urban and suburban
streets of America to the rain forests and deserts of distant lands. Whether you are single, married, a student, a homemaker, a
professional or retired, Perspectives will bless and challenge your life and
direction. A fantastic array of pastors, theologians, international
missiologists and mobilizers will challenge and inspire you with their
personal experiences that will open your eyes to see just how big God is, and
how much He desires that all might come to know Him. You will explore God's heart for every
tribe, tongue, and language that He has created and placed around us here at
home and to the ends of the earth.

Paul helps people Enjoy Jesus More. He remembers when he had his dream job traveling the world and selling software, but was actually empty and unfulfilled. Once Jesus gave him the true satisfaction he was longing for, Paul began spreading this joy and peace to others.
He founded Seven Wells in 2015 to help people Enjoy Jesus and spread his joy to the nations. Prior to Seven Wells, Paul has served an Executive Pastor, Mobilization Coach, and Director in several mission orgs. But Paul's true heart is simply making disciples that make disciples that impact nations. Coaching goers is a huge part of this work.
Paul lives in Ozark Mountains of Bentonville, Arkansas with his wife and three kids. When not working, he is ripping his mountain bike down a trail or curled up with a coffee and a book. b

Lesson 3
Your Kingdom Come
Exploring God's purpose regarding evil: How God has accomplished a defeat of evil powers in order to open a season of history in which the nations can freely follow Christ. The kingdom of God as the destiny of all history. Christ's mission seeks a hindering of evil to bring about a sign of the coming peace of the kingdom of God. Our prayers contend with evil in order to bring about the transformation of society with Christ's kingdom in view.

Frank began work with TMS-Global in 1986, serving with his wife Vicki as a missionary to Ghana until 1994. Upon returning to the United States, Frank joined the home office staff where he established and now directs the training department.
BACKGROUND
Prior to serving as a missionary, Frank served as the pastor of the Community United Methodist Church in Portsmouth, Virginia from 1980 to 1986.
PUBLICATIONS
Frank has written more than 60 articles on missions, is a regular columnist for Good News Magazine, and has written chapters for two books on missions.

Scott and his wife, Chris, have been married 40 years and are blessed with two grown children and one grandson. Scott completed a BSBA from Mars Hill University (NC), a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY., and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Seminary in 1995 in Evangelism and Church Growth. After serving as a Lead Pastor for 34 years he has now made the transition to invest 100% of his ministry in Missions as the Pastor of Global Missions at Salem Church in McDonough, Georgia. He is personally involved in mission partnerships on four continents and serves as the Co- Director for Mustard Seed International. He has led 69 short-term mission trips to Asia, Africa, Europe, and Central America. Scott also teaches 6 Perspectives on the World Christian Movement lessons and seeks to weave stories and experiences from the front lines into the time-tested practical principles of the world of missions. He loves helping to mobilize churches and individuals to catch God's vision for the world and to develop ongoing mission partnerships between local churches and believers here with indigenous partners in unreached areas. He loves to teach God's Word in its simplicity and power and has a passion to reach the unreached and to see believers grow in Christ and become pioneers of Kingdom growth. b

Mike serves as the International Project Director for ALONGSIDEASIA, with our primary focus on South Asia (India, Nepal, Bhutan). He works with church planting teams, evangelists, and community development groups in this region.
Mike worked for 22 years with OPERATION MOBILIZATION, 16 with their ship ministry aboard MV LOGOS & MV DOULOS. He and his wife Jorie raised their 3 children aboard the ships while ministering in 60+ nations/cultures. He served as Director of the floating Book Fair and, later, as the Managing Director of the ship DOULOS. He then served 6 years as the President/CEO of OM in the USA, based outside of Atlanta, GA.
Recently retired, and returning to more direct global ministry, for 22+ years, Mike served as pastor/elder for Community and Global Ministries at Grace Evangelical Church in Fayetteville, GA, a church with a passion for global and community transformation through the life and power of Jesus Christ.
Mike has earned two MA degrees: first, in International Comparative Politics (Univ. of Illinois-Urbana); later in Inter-cultural Communication (Wheaton Grad School). And he has taught at the graduate level at the University of Indonesia - Jakarta.

For 10 years Richard served as the director of mobilization and candidacy for TMS Global, a sending agency in Peachtree Corners, GA. He left this role in June 2017 in order to pursue an opportunity In Ethiopia through TMS Global. Richard's ministry passions are networking, teaching, evangelism, and helping people to discern their calling.
In addition to his responsibilities with TMS Global, Richard participates in several national and international networks, including the Lausanne Movement. He had the privilege of serving as the global selection chair for the 2016 Lausanne Younger Leaders Gathering, which brought together younger leaders and mentors from over 140 countries.
A person who loves diversity, Richard has a variety of friendships all of which have made him who he is today. He and his wife Amanda have 4 young children, who they enjoy raising as World Christians. b

How Shall They Hear?
Culture and intercultural communication of the gospel. Communicating the gospel with relevance at the worldview level helps avoid syncretism (blending of cultural error with God?s truth) and also enables powerful movements of the gospel. Sensitive missionaries will look for ways that God has preserved or prepared people to hear the gospel, often finding redemptive analogies for God's truth.

Dennis and his wife Nancy served as linguists and Bible translators among the 20,000 Duna people of Papua New Guinea. After devising an alphabet for this previously unwritten language they produced primers and readers, teaching many to read their own language. They then translated the first portions of God's Word into the Duna language. Several thousand Duna came to faith in Christ and today there are many churches among these people. b

Darrell Whiteman is a missiological anthropologist now semi-retired but continues to teach and train cross-cultural workers around the globe. He retired as VP and Resident Missiologist at The Mission Society, now TMS-Global. Darrell served in cross-cultural ministry for nine years in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Central Africa, then was one of the founding professors of Asbury Theological Seminary's School of World Mission and Evangelism, where he taught for 21 years and served as dean in the later years. He’s given leadership to many professional missiological societies researching the intersection of cultures and biblical values. Darrell annually equips hundreds of cross-cultural witnesses to understand God's mission around the globe and to help them to better connect the gospel to the deepest part of their worldview. b

The Spontaneous Multiplication of Churches
Look beyond institutional features of churches to understand churches as dynamic movements of Christ Himself being followed. As a missional thinker and practitioner, Dr. Glenn Hatcher and his wife Phyllis have spent 35 years in inter-denominational faith ministry living in the US, East Africa and Mediterranean Basin teaching and training leaders. Glenn has discipled students on university campuses in the US, trained pastors to develop churches throughout East Africa and equipped emerging leaders in the underground Church in Islamic Africa.
While still having a passion for cross-cultural ministry, the Hatchers returned to the US in 2006 to train new missionaries with Globe International, a mission agency in Pensacola.
Glenn continues his ministry of people development as a certified leadership coach and founder of Eikon Associates. He is the author of "Why God Thinks He Can Use You."
