Hudson Smith is from the United States, and grew up in Arkansas, earning a degree in history from the University of Arkansas. For 10 years, he served as the Director of Operations for The Traveling Team. The Traveling Team is a mobilization organization that recruits college students from all major US universities toward Christ's global cause. During his time on staff, he traveled to 49 states and 3 countries and spoke to over 40,000 college students, sharing God's heart for the world. He also spoke extensively at Perspectives classes and missions conferences for churches.
In 2021, he and his family moved to Dubai, UAE to serve as the Director of Operations for Redeemer Church of Dubai. He has Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary. b

Yvonne from Austin, Texas loves mobilizing Christians and entire churches to find and engage their God-designed role for participation in the completion of the Great Commission. Currently on staff with Perspectives Global, Yvonne's varied career experience includes the corporate world, local church ministry, mission ministry, and managing a non-profit organization. She has worked with the Perspectives movement for over 25 years both nationally and internationally. Her overseas field experience includes one year in Russia and travel in 40 nations. She holds a Doctor of Ministry in Missions and Cross-Cultural Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. b

Her passion for the nations has been the driving force throughout her Christian walk, taking her into the inner cities of England, the mountains of the Afghanistan and India and the refugee camps of Pakistan, and now the suburbs of North Texas.

Sean and his wife Meredith have spent the last decade traveling the entire Continental U.S. casting mission vision with Traveling Team. They have a two year old daughter named Haven. Sean graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Communication. He has short term exposure in India and Indonesia. Sean continues to travel nation wide speaking to students and churches. When not speaking he serves alongside The Traveling Team Leadership as the Director of Ministry Advancement. Lesson 10
How Shall They Hear?
Culture and intercultural communication of the gospel. Communicating the gospel with relevance at the worldview level helps avoid syncretism (blending of cultural error with God?s truth) and also enables powerful movements of the gospel. Sensitive missionaries will look for ways that God has preserved or prepared people to hear the gospel, often finding redemptive analogies for God's truth.

Born in South Korea, Sunny Hong came to the US in 1983. She was employed in the computer software profession and was active in a local church. At that time Sunny was seeking for God’s call as to how she could be involved in missions. Eventually she felt God’s calling to the ministry of Wycliffe Bible translators. She joined Wycliffe in 1994 and worked as a mobilizer for Koreans in the US and Canada for 12 years. She then was sent to the Philippines to work as a mobilization consultant for the Wycliffe Asia and Pacific areas. While in the Philippines, she sensed God redirecting her ministry to missiology/anthropology. She pursued an intercultural studies Ph.D. program at Biola and after completing these studies, started working as a senior intercultural consultant at SIL International which includes teaching at Dallas International University, in Dallas, TX. b

Brad came to faith in Christ at 17 and soon after was challenged with the need of unreached people groups. He began training for this directly after High School.
Beth is from St. Johns MI., her Mom and Dad love the Lord Jesus and raised her with a heart for the world. They met, had two boys and left for Papua New Guinea in January of 1979.
Soon after arriving they moved in among the Iteri people who live in the headwaters of the Sepik River Basin. After 4 years of studying the language and culture of the Iteri people they were fluent and began to share Christ with them for the first time.
The baby church was discipled and in a few years leaders were ordained. The Busers worked on the New Testament translation and by 1999, after 20 years in the village, with the translation done, the church up and thriving, their need to be among the Iteris was over.
Upon returning from PNG he and other men saw the need for appropriate training for missionaries who would be sent to Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists. In 2010 he helped found Radius International as a ministry to do such training.
Radius is currently the largest training program for those going into Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist and Tribal peoples. For those who desire to do church planting among the least reached it is the premier training available.

Patrick Lai is a slave of Jesus. He has worked in SE Asia for 34 years; 10 years as a regular missionary and the past 24 years he has started 14 small businesses in 4 countries, 6 of which are still operating. The Lord enabled his team to win nearly 80 Muslims to Himself and gather 4 groups of Muslim believers.
Patrick is the author of Tentmaking – The Life and Work of Business as Missions and Business for Transformation – Getting Started. Patrick’s degrees are in business marketing, University of Oregon; MDIV, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Chicago; Doctorate of Missiology (Topic: Problems and Solutions for Enhancing the Productivity of Tentmakers/BAMers Doing Church Planting in the 10/40 Window"), Asian Graduate School of Theology, Manila.
Patrick founded the OPEN Network, and then OPEN USA (formerly NexusB4T) to coordinate services and equip young workers and their churches for reaching peoples overseas via business.
Currently Patrick and May mentor and coach business people working where there are few or no churches. They have a son and daughter-in-law serving the Lord in Denver as a banker and lawyer, and another son running an app development business in south Asia.

Danny and his wife Frances along with their two sons moved to a central African country in 1992. There they served as part of a pioneering church planting team working among a major unreached people group with an estimated population of around fifteen million in all of sub-Saharan Africa. They returned to the US in 2013 and continue to serve the work in Africa by offering logistical and administrative support. They desire to serve the Body of Christ in the US as mobilizers and encouragers to those who serve in hard places. They also welcome the nations who live among us. b

Steve serves at The Chapel on The Campus, a non-denominational church in Baton Rouge LA, as the Global and Local Outreach Director. He helps lead the church in reaching the nations, both in Baton Rouge through International Ministry, and around the world through trips and partnerships. He and His wife Amber have a passion to see the church grasp and act on her God given opportunity and responsibility to make disciples of all nations. After pursuing going to the Muslim world themselves, God has had them stay in the states to help every follower of Jesus see that their lives have been bought and their redemption has been given not just for themselves, but so Jesus will be made known through every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. In 2018, they opened Light House Coffee in Baton Rouge, a coffee shop with the mission to Serve the World Through a Baton Rouge Coffee Experience. They use this business as an opportunity to employ, love, and serve refugees from around the world, and train up global workers to use business to impact the world. b
