    Mike began his ministry by pastoring a local church in Los Angeles, then spent several years on the mission field in Mexico, where he started a training ministry called 'El Puente', which served as a bridge to equip short term missionaries and enable the local Body of Christ in Mexico to become self supporting apart from American funds. In 2008, Mike planted a church in Los Angeles, CA (Redeemer), and teaches Biblical Theology & Church Planting at Radius International, a 12 month training program in Tijuana, designed to equip missionaries to the unreached with the cultural, linguistic and Biblical skills necessary. In 2018, he transitioned out of local church ministry to start The Family Table, a non profit mobilizing churches to care for vulnerable children in the foster care system.

    Todd Ahrend graduated from Northeastern State University, has a Masters from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctorate from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is the founder and international Director of The Traveling Team, a national missions mobilization movement. He and his wife, Jessica, have spent almost two decades traveling both nation-wide and abroad, speaking to thousands of people about involvement in world evangelization. Todd has exposure in over sixty countries and has lived in the Middle East. He is the author of The Abrahamic Revolution and In This Generation. Jon regularly speaks and teaches in churches, conferences, and various training events around the world--he has taught over 35,000 Perspectives students. Jon has a passion for seeing local churches and ordinary Christians step into strategic roles in the global missions enterprise. Jon is an ordained minister, holds a PhD from the VU University in Amsterdam, and did post-graduate studies at the International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague.     Jeff Johnson and his wife Roxanne have been working with Muslims since 1988. They have served on and led church-planting teams in India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. They have witnessed firsthand the martyrdom of Muslim back-ground believers and fellow missionaries, birthed underground Christian fellowships in war torn countries, and seen the miraculous hand of God throughout the Muslim world. Jeff currently works in Frontiers' International Leadership group as Co-Director of Sending; overseeing 32 sending bases and engaging with indigenous sending partners and churches in the Global South and Majority World. After being arrested and deported from Uzbekistan, Jeff and his wife Roxanne split their time working with Frontiers International Office in London and in Phoenix, where they engage Frontiers' Latino Sending Bases. Jeff & Roxanne also coach and oversee church planting teams in South Asia. Jeff is a popular speaker and preacher at large, specializing in training followers of Jesus to engage Muslims both domestically and globally.

    Peter Benjamin, serves on the Perspectives executive team as the chief development officer and interim chief communications officer. Perspectives is a guided experience, through a unique 15-week course, designed to help believers discover their role in God’s global purpose. Peter manages teams improving communications and developing new resources that provide support to the thousands of volunteers and students participating in classes each year. Peter first took the course in 2007. Through Perspectives, he began to put together all the pieces of who he knew God to be and how God had been shaping his life. In 2013, he coordinated his first Perspectives class with Reality LA, and not long after ended up joining the Perspectives national staff to help steward the movement of thousands of volunteers across the country.     Brian and Louise Hogan have served in mission since 1987. From the Navajo Tribe to Outer Mongolia, their passion has been to see Jesus glorified and lifted up among those who have never known Him. From 1993-1996 their team pioneered a church planting movement in Erdenet (AIR-DUH-NET), Mongolia that continues to grow under fully indigenous leadership to this day. Their Mongolian disciples are now training and sending out their own missionaries to other unreached people groups. The story of the work in Erdenet can be read in Brian’s book: There’s a Sheep in my Bathtub (Asteroidea Books), and in the case study article – “Distant Thunder: Mongols Follow the Khan of Khans” – on page 695 of your Perspectives Reader.

He oversees the public health, preventive health, and clinical projects that his NGO operates through its rural medical clinics . His medical work spans both developing and developed countries with internships and work experiences in both the public health and clinical medicine arena. He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Azusa Pacific University, a Master’s Degree in International Public Health from Loma Linda University, and a Medical Degree from England. His interest lies in incorporating his medical experiences for the transformational development of rural communities in the developing world. Dr. Youssef has a passion to develop communities that would invest into a 'holistic' perspective on health – physical wholeness as a result of a healthy interaction between an individual’s heart, mind, and the spirit. He took his first trip to the Himalayas in November 2011 and he had a crisis of encounter that turned his world upside right. From that moment, his life shifted into the passionate service of seeing Christ exalted at the top of the world. For almost 10 years, Josh served as Executive Director for a ministry that addressed both urgent physical and spiritual needs among Tibetan Buddhist unreached people groups.     Brian is an ordained minister of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church who served for 30 years in local church ministry as a youth worker and lead pastor before becoming a mobilizer for the English Language Institute China (and 12 other countries). His undergrad is in International Relations with an emphasis in the Middle East. His Masters is in Theology with an emphasis in Church History. He served for 5 years with World Venture as a pastor of an international church in Luzern, Switzerland and as a middle school and high school teacher of history, geography and Bible at the Black Forest Academy in Germany. He is a guitarist and mandolinist and a teacher of those, a history geek, a linguist and a communicator. He has been married 37 years and has four children and a grandson. He loves personal fitness, old movies and good coffee.
