Gain a contemporary view of what God has done, what He is doing, and how we can join Him in reaching the lost. You can take this class for enrichment, for a certificate, or for college credit (undergrad or graduate). You were made to be part of God's plan for spreading His kingdom to all ethnic groups.

Why an Intensive?
The normal Perspectives class is 15 weeks long, but this intensive class allows you to attend all the class sessions in 5 days. The work can be started ahead of the class and will be finished 2 months afterwards.

The advantage of a one week block is that students who are working or pastoring can take one week off to do the whole class. The Fresno committee will supply housing and 8 meals during the class for no additional cost.

      Matthew Ellison

      Sixteen:Fifteen, Albuquerque NM

Matthew was rescued by Jesus when he was twenty-three. Shortly after, he found himself in Ghana, West Africa on the first of what would be many ventures to the mission field. That first trip, Matthew says, "ruined me for anything less than a life lived for God's global purpose." In 1993 he began serving at Calvary of Albuquerque, in New Mexico, where he attended and graduated from their School of Ministry. He worked as the missions pastor at Calvary for nine years, developing and launching a strategic church-wide missions ministry. There he founded LifeLine Missions, an international short-term mission ministry that gave thousands across the country the opportunity to experience the mission field firsthand. Through these ministry opportunities he became extensively involved in short and long-term mission endeavors in countries around the world. Now, he devotes his time to serving local churches across the country by coaching them in strategically focused missions and helping them to discover and use their unique gifts in partnership with others to make Christ known among all nations. Matthew is the President and co-founder of Sixteen:Fifteen, and currently lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife, Renee, and their three children, Matthew, Caleigh, and Landin.

      Larry Stucky

      WorldVenture, Clovis CA

Larry and his wife Dana served from 1983 to 1993 as church planters in Northeast Brazil. They also helped start a theological seminary for training Brazilian church planters in 1986, with Larry later serving as its director. In 1993 he and his family moved to Albania for hands-on involvement in a country that had been known as one of the top unreached geopolitical areas of the world. This post-communist, atheistic nation provided a context of nominalism spanning three religious traditions. Ironically all three included a hefty dose of atheism. The particular movement of churches that Larry and Dana served now includes several congregations in the southeast of the country. Since 2011 Larry has concentrated on mobilizing the church to become involved with diaspora people groups from his base in California. He has a passion for UPGs (unreached people groups) and UUPGs (unengaged UPGs) throughout the world. His wife Dana passed away in the fall of 2018.
