      Sundee Simmons currently serves as Associate Director of Perspectives Global. Sundee has been serving the Perspectives program since 1991. She has served as a volunteer coordinator, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, East Coast Regional Administrator and the Director of Training for Perspectives USA before joining the Perspectives Global Team. Sundee Simmons is a wife and mother of 3 children, Nathan (1996), Emily (1998) and Julianna (2005). Her husband, Scott, is a ordained PCA Pastor serving Third Millennium Ministries as the Director of Instructor Relations.

      Canadian-born, Don received Christ at a YFC rally in 1952 and later graduated from Prairie Bible Institute and Wycliffe's SIL course. From 1962-1977 Don and his late wife, Carol Joy [Soderstrom], an RN, served in Irian Jaya (now Papua, Indonesia) among the Sawi, a Stone-Age cannibal-headhunter tribe. After Don designed a Sawi alphabet, he and Carol taught literacy, planted churches, healed the sick and translated the New Testament. More than half the tribe came to Christ. Author of six books, including "Peace Child" and "Eternity in Their Hearts," Don holds an honorary doctorate from Biola University. He represents World Team at missions conferences and in churches, teaches seminars, and lectures for Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. 17 months after his late wife's passing, Don wed Carol Joyce Abraham, who now serves with him in ministry by speaking to women's groups, singing solos, mentoring, and providing hospitality.

Our prayers contend with evil in order to bring about the transformation of society with Christ's kingdom in view.

Before this, Scott was the minister of missions and spiritual formation at Chapelgate Presbyterian Church, where he oversaw global church planting partnerships and local evangelism and mercy ministries. Scott is the husband of one and father of three and he loves nature and wildlife photography, jazz and folk music, movies and a good book.

She is currently completing her PhD in Theology at the University of Cambridge, St. John’s College. She previously received her undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and Theatre from the University of Central Florida and her MA in Church History from the University of Nottingham. She has a passion for educating Christians and congregations in theology and church history, and sees quality education as fundamental for developing healthy and whole followers of Jesus Christ.       Mark Baxter is the visionary leader of Youth With A Mission Jacksonville, Florida. Mark and Janet started the base in January 2001 because they are passionate about taking the Gospel to places where it isn't. They have 3 children - Daniel, Kathleen, and Jennifer along with 8 grandchildren. Mark has ministered in over 130 nations and he, Janet, and their youngest child lived in Harbin, China teaching English and planted a church among unreached people in 2008/09.       How Shall They Hear?

      Culture and intercultural communication of the gospel. Communicating the gospel with relevance at the worldview level helps avoid syncretism (blending of cultural error with God?s truth) and also enables powerful movements of the gospel. Sensitive missionaries will look for ways that God has preserved or prepared people to hear the gospel, often finding redemptive analogies for God's truth.

      Ted Esler is the President of Missio Nexus, an association of agencies and churches representing over 30,000 Great Commission workers worldwide. A Minnesota native, Ted worked in the computer industry before becoming a church planter in Sarajevo, Bosnia, during the 1990’s. He is the author of the book, "Overwhelming Minority," about their family's ministry in Bosnia. In 2000, Ted became the Canadian director of Pioneers and three years later moved to Orlando to join Pioneers USA’s leadership team. He was appointed the President of Missio Nexus in 2015. Ted has BS in Computer Science and Speech Communication (Mankato State University, 1985), an MTS in Theology (Heritage Seminary, 2002), and a PhD in Intercultural Studies (Fuller Theological Seminary, 2012). Ted is married to Annette and they have five children. Ted loves sailing, Crossfit, bikes, plays bass, and enjoys eating ethnic foods from around the world. Ted is a part of a church planting network in Orlando called "The Living Room," and serves as a board member for a couple of ministry organizations.

      JC was born to a Cuban immigrant family and grew up learning Spanish and English in a multi-cultural setting. He came to Christ as a teenager, quickly sensing God’s call to work among unreached peoples. JC worked for 32 years in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Europe: focused on evangelism and church planting, first directing a language institute in Central Asia, later leading a cross-cultural training program in Spain, preparing Latino and Iberians for service among Muslims. JC earned a MA in Islamic Studies from the University of Edinburgh and DMin from Columbia International University. He has written articles on Islamic literature, and history, ministry to Muslims, and has authored numerous discipleship curricula. He is an accomplished lecturer, teaching world-wide.

      Look beyond institutional features of churches to understand churches as dynamic movements of Christ Himself being followed. Churches as counter-communities, acting as salt and light, bringing change to their cultures. How movements multiply by connecting with entire families and larger social structures.

      Keith currently serves with Global Church Movements as the Director of Field Strategies, giving leadership to the training process, engaging digital and mobile technologies, and developing measurement systems and processes. Joining Campus Crusade for Christ 39 years ago, Keith first served in Nigeria teaching electronics and discipling students, then training churches and recording the Jesus film in West African languages. Returning to the US, he served with the ministry to university professors, especially developing websites presenting a biblical worldview by renowned scholars to help disciple students during their university years on secular campuses.       I joined New Tribes Missions and served for 6 years on the home staff of the New Tribes Language and Linguists School, teaching a number of Linguistic classes. In 1970 my husband and I went to Venezuela, where we worked with the Panare people. We worked with the Panares for 33 years, during which time we completed a translation of the New Testament and portions of the Old Testament, and saw a strong church develop. In 2005 we were evicted from working with the tribal people by the Venezuelan President, but have continued to work on translation projects.
